In 2010, I released the dystopian novel—Gods of Ruin—set in the near future and though it may seem easy to do, predicting the future—even within 12 years—is a difficult task. For instance, I didn’t predict a widespread pandemic that would usher in a New World totalitarian state. I was still in the frame of the security state and the War on Terror ushering in a New World totalitarian state.

Regardless, it was an insightful exercise to see how prophetic I was. Here’s what I got right.

Election Fraud

In the first scene of the book, the protagonist knows he’s going to lose because the polls weren’t going his way but surprise, surprise, he wins. One of his staff used a new technology that tracked overall social sentiment through artificial intelligence, which picked every race correctly except for his. The implication is that the steal was real.

The idea that there could be fraud in US elections wasn’t really considered until Hillary Clinton pushed the idea after losing in 2016, and as then candidate Joe Biden explained he has the most, “extensive…voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”

The Uniparty

It was clear to me in 2010 that the Republican and Democratic Parties are two wings of the same decrepit bird. Leaders in both parties worked together to advance the totalitarian state against the people.

Today we see exactly that as the mirage of a two party system has faded and revealed Republican and Democratic elites waging war on the American people in order to support the global New World Order.

The Deep State swamp rats want to perpetuate the two-party mirage because it placates the people by letting them imagine they have a choice. There is no choice. When you do get an actual choice of a powerful outsider who won’t play by their rules, they will destroy him.

Trump

Well, I’m not claiming to have The Simpson-esque prophecy capabilities, but I did predict a political candidate—the protagonist Com DeGroot—who was a brash outsider who clashed with the media and spoke truth to power. The people loved him but the elites hated him.

People want straight-talkers and not slick politicians. That was one of the appeals of Trump and I gave a glimpse of that in the book, though not quite as hilariously.

I also had the elites in the Uniparty turn on the outsider once he broke with them. Once it happened, my protagonist went to the libertarian refuge or Ur, which was in Texas. I didn’t envision the bastion of freedom would actually be in Florida.

Telsa

Tesla wasn’t a big deal in 2010 and Elon Musk wasn’t nearly the polarizing figure he has become but I had a feeling that was going to change. In the book, I had several states outlaw the sale of Teslas.

Release the Criminals!

In “Gods of Ruin”, the powers that be release violent criminals from prison back into society en masse. I didn’t really understand it at the time, but this is part of the plan to destabilize the country and is happening all over the United States. According to NY Post, “George Soros has been quietly financing a revolution in criminal justice reform, doling out tens of millions of dollars to progressive candidates in district attorney races throughout the country amid movements to abolish bail and defund the police.”

Why would people do this? They want to decriminalize crime and focus solely on criminalizing political incorrectness. They want a system which does not defend property rights and the only crime is offending the state. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn described this perverse criminal justice system in “Gulag Archipelago” in horrifying detail. In the book he explains that Soviets under Lenin implemented policies which favored the common criminals and repressed the political prisoners. Lenin deemed that the criminals, as “social allies” of the working class, were more likely to become good Soviet citizens than the political prisoners, considered “counterrevolutionaries” and “enemies of the state.”

The same dichotomy is emerging in the United States under the Soros plan where thieves and even violent criminals are being released from prison and people who dare to protest the leviathan are being thrown in American gulags for years.
